Figuring Out Who You Are & What You Want

Do you sometimes find yourself wondering who you are, or why you do the things you do?

Figuring out what makes you tick will help you to understand essential things about yourself, including how you react in certain situations and what you want to do, both now and in the future 💭

It’s not something that all schools teach , which is why most adults don’t have it all figured out either!

Figuring this out now will help to give you a head start🚦

Ready to give it a go?

  1. Values

Your values determine what’s important to you.

Values are things that can act as your compass and help to guide you in life 🧭

They will direct how you invest your time, energy, and resources to achieve things… or avoid them.

Values are what make you tick ✔

Examples can be friendship, honesty, creativity, helping others, wealth, or status, and you will have your own individual unique set.

You will have 3-5 values that are most important to you; it’s why you do and feel the things you do 😍

These posts & episodes may help and check out Next Steps below 👇

2. Superpowers & Kryptonite

What you’re good at - your strengths - form your Superpowers 👍

They can be anything you excel at and enjoy, such as maths, sport, music, teamwork, art, gaming.

You will also have your Kryptonite 👎

These are the things that you’re not so good at, don’t enjoy, or want to do, such as writing, science, singing, presenting, history, dancing.

Questions to ask yourself:

  • What do I enjoy / dislike?

  • What am I good / not good at?

Your answers will help you start identifying your Superpowers and Kryptonite.

Once you know what each of these are, you can focus on developing your Superpowers and limiting your Kryptonite!

When you combine these with your Values, you will have a much better understanding of who you are and what you want in your life 🤩

And together they will help you achieve great things!
